I've just watched "Evangelion Shin-Gekijoh-Ban: Ha," second of new film series of Evangelion.

First of the new series "Jo," was retouched and repainted compilation of episodes from TV series. As its last scene suggested, second of the film series departs wide from the old storyline. I suppose more than half of the scenes are newly drawn.
It features new female EVA pilot, who drives EVA just for joy of battles and shows more of its bruteness. It also features a love triangle (or quadrangle) more straightfoward than in TV series. Asuka wears less and shows her underwear more frequently

In short, this new film has more of EVA's attractions (cuties, comical school stories, cool but creepy EVAs, surrealistic Angels, brutal slash-and-huck battles, and more) than original TV series.
If you love Evangelion, come and grab it! It is great fun to watch this show in theater.

To our regret, it has nothing of a moving film. It is not moving, but just impressive and spectacular.
